"Knit it Black" is a mini collection intended to raise awareness of "Black Dog Syndrome" - the phenomenon by which black dogs and cats are adopted less often than their lighter-colored peers- as well as raise funds for animal rescue. The project was financed with a successful crowdfunding campaign and photographed by Vivian Aubrey. Layout and graphics by me.
I've been writing knitting patterns for over a decade, and amassed quite the body of work! You can see all of my designs on my Ravelry designer page. I'm known for accessories, and hats in particular. I write primarily for the advanced-beginner audience - those folks looking to go just beyond the basics and try something new (or, for advanced knitters who want a project they can take on the go or work on during a movie.)
